Email Manager allows you to automate the storage of emails and attachments within an Enterprise PDM vault based on the emails’ project and contact information. It enables centralised storage of emails and attachments alongside other document types, making it far easier to manage high volumes of duplicate e-mail traffic caused when users forward emails to other team members
You can define the rules on central, accessible storage of sent and received e-mails and their attachments. Watching private and public Outlook folders for new emails rules can be defined to place all emails that relate to, say, a particular project and from a particular person or company, in the correct folder within an Enterprise PDM Vault.
In a similar way, attachments are automatically extracted for you and placed in a folder based on their type.
