D2M3 & Cadassist join forces with Symetri to expand CAD, BIM and PLM solutions and professional services within the UK Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.

Addnode Group, Europe’s leading provider of software and services for design and engineering activities, announced today that they have acquired d2m3 Ltd and Cadassist Ltd with combined net sales in excess of £9million.

The acquisition of D2M3 & Cadassist is in line with Addnode Group's strategy to be an international market-leading provider of software and services for design and engineering.

D2M3 deliver World Class PLM solutions and associated consultancy services across Europe in some of the most demanding manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Customers include Pilkington Glass, Centrica Energy, BT, Expro Group, Unilever, Numatic International, AAF, Gardner Denver and Nuclear industry organisations.

Cadassist is a long-standing Autodesk Value Added Reseller and a UK leading provider of CAD, BIM, PDM software, training and consultancy services. Operations are centred around key market sectors, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Oil, Gas, Nuclear and Manufacturing. Customers include Environmental Agency, Transport for London, Tata Steel, Redrow Homes, Interserve, BAE Systems, BT, BDP, Grimshaw, Alford Hall Monaghan Morris, SimpsonHaugh, BAM Construction and Scottish Power.

Cadassist operations will merge with Symetri, part of Addnode Group's Division Design Management.

Cadassist & D2M3 will continue to operate led by their long-standing management team from their Manchester base, in Bramhall, Cheshire.
