D2M3 have been implementing and developing add-ons for both SolidWorks Enterprise PDM and its predecessor, Conisio, for almost a decade. The add-ons have been designed to provide additional key functionality to existing CAD users and/or extend SolidWorks Enterprise PDM's appeal outside the design workgroup.

Our approach is to enhance the design-related functionality whilst appealing to all technical and non-technical staff within the division or company-wide, wherever they are based.

The design of our add-ons leverages many years of research and development and our experience in large scale, multi-site implementations.

With any PDM system introduction, the larger part of the investment is focused on getting the system established and everyone using the tool, abandoning legacy systems, gaining support and traction from users and management. The advantage of further add-on applications to the base system is the high return on investment since costs are low, yet the enhancements deliver direct productivity gains.

All the applications are developed to be fully configurable by the reseller or end-user, requiring no specialist knowledge.
